Product Features CareCLAIM is Paperless. With CareCLAIM patient pre-enrollment is NOT required. New patients are added "on-the-fly" eliminating cumbersome paperwork and pre-enrollment delays.

Point-of-Sale Messaging. Real-time rejection messages ensure problem claims are addressed while the patient is still in your pharmacy – and, you know immediately what to collect from the patient.

Pre-Edits MEAN Clean Claims. Pre-edits include ICD-9 therapeutic class screens; HICN validation; dispensing limit checks; and, NDC to HCPCS mapping that keep you compliant with Medicare rules.

24/7/365 Help Desk. Our service includes 24/7/365 hot-line support. And, at OmniSYS you'll NEVER get voicemail. Our well-trained and knowledgeable help desk staff includes a team of Medicare compliance personnel who regularly attend seminars and workshops to stay current on all Medicare billing issues. We are always available to assist your pharmacies when they have questions about claims.

Minimize Financial Risk. CareCLAIM uses extensive pre-edits including deductible tracking, OCNA validation, formulary compliance, overutilization monitoring, etc. to minimize financial risk and ensure claims are paid.

Ease-of-Use. CareCLAIM allows you to process Medicare claims just like any other third-party prescription using your existing pharmacy system - no additional hardware or software is required. Color-coded directions make it easy for relief pharmacists to submit claims. Because CareCLAIM is intuitive, pharmacists don't have to understand Medicare policies and procedures. Medicare updates and changes are maintained by the CareCLAIM system and are invisible to the pharmacist.

Assignment Options. With CareCLAIM you can accept assignment with confidence without any additional fees to you - which leverages your market presence by minimizing your patient’s out-of-pocket costs.

In-House Technology. We developed and maintain the entire CareCLAIM system, which allows us to respond quickly to Medicare changes. Last year the Medical Policy for Diabetic Supplies was revised four times.

Ability to Customize for Chains. CareCLAIM can be customized to meet your specific needs. For example, you may choose chain-wide assignment defaults or accept assignment for specific formulary items. Plus, if you require reconciliation services, we will tailor a package that meets your needs.

Media Kit Available. As a part of our service we will assist you in developing signs for your pharmacies and advertising slicks to promote these new service offerings.

Industry Knowledge. We have over twenty five years of experience providing systems and software for the healthcare industry including pharmacies and home medical equipment providers. We submit claims daily to all Regional DMERC’s. In addition, over 90 pharmacy software vendors are currently certified for CareCLAIM, which qualifies us as a nationwide provider of these services.

Expanded Therapeutic Classes. CareCLAIM Therapeutic Classes include: Diabetic Testing Supplies, Nebulizer Medications, Immunosuppressive Drugs, Oral Anti-Cancer and Oral-Antiemetic Drugs, Ostomy Supplies, Surgical Supplies, Canes, Walkers, Crutches, Commodes and other "Inexpensive and Routinely Purchased" items, plus Capped Rental Items such as Nebulizer Compressors, Nebulizer Compressor Accessories, Motorized/Power Wheelchairs and Hospital Beds. Flu and PPV vaccine and administration fees can also be billed through CareCLAIM.

Stay Up to Date. CareCLAIM is much more than a vehicle for electronically billing DME/HME claims. The CareCLAIM User's Guide is updated quarterly and includes educational information on medical policies, documentation requirements and therapeutic class formularies.
